ON RAMP.....Why?

The emphasis of the On-Ramp sessions is skill development and exposure to our basic movements. It is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing CrossFit group classes.

We will be emphasising technique — to ensure your safety and to ensure success at the next level.

The First things we will introduce you to are the fundamental movements that are universal to CROSSFIT.

We will teach you the basic skills that progressively become more technical as you become more comfortable.

A total of 6 On Ramp Sessions will be taught over a two week period. It is a necessity that you attend all On Ramp sessions as these skills build upon each other.

A WOD (Workout Of the Day) will be at the end of each On Ramp sessions becoming progressively more intense throughout the series.

The intensity is relative to the amount of work you put in. It starts easy and ramps up the intensity, preparing you for CrossFit WODs.

Body composition is a major motivator in CrossFit, your body will change. We recommend you take before pictures as your CrossFit journey will be a trip worth remembering.

Each On Ramp session will be limited to 15 people as we need to ensure correct teaching is given to all. The sooner you sign up the sooner you will become CROSSFIT.

No Excuses!

At CrossFit Didcot we do not accept excuses! Examples:

It's too intense for me = Each WOD is scaled to your ability

I am not familiar with CrossFit exercises = Each exercise will have instruction

I want to be in better shape before I attend a CrossFit class = The ONLY way to get ready for CrossFit is to DO CrossFit

I won't be able to keep up = CrossFit is what you put in. The only person you have to keep up with is YOU

I am a beginner = Everyone is a beginner at first, because of the constantly varied programming nature of CrossFit almost every WOD is a new beginning.
